St-Margaret the Dragonslayer – Peaceful Protest and The Feminine Hero

For a literature class at Saskatoon University, I discuss St-Margaret (Marina) of Antioch with Mark
Doerksen. We discuss St-Margaret’s surprising story of being swallowed by a dragon and piercing it to escape. We examine how this is related to the feminine hero and the role of martyrs as examples for Christians.
